Fondation Cité de la Santé’s mission is to contribute to the improvement of patient care and services provided at the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) in Laval. Since 1980, we acquire medical equipment; help improve beneficiaries’ quality of life; contribute to research and teaching; provide for training and development and we contribute to the improvement of infrastructures. Since its inception in 1976, the Montréal Sacré-Cœur Hospital Foundation has supported the realization of many major projects at the Hospital. Nearly $75 million in funding has been raised.

Founded in 1987, the Fondation Hôpital Pierre-Boucher's mission is to contribute to the realization of the priority projects of the Pierre-Boucher Hospital, for the ultimate benefit of the patients of the institution and their families.
To date, the Foundation has contributed nearly $ 39 million to the Pierre-Boucher Hospital by investing in numerous projects. It has just completed a major $ 23 million fundraising campaign over a five-year period (2011-2016). This campaign made it possible to achieve major projects for the hospital, such as the purchase of volumetric pumps, the purchase of a second CT scan, the project "A friendly hospital for the elderly", the purchase of a new fluoroscopic device and the expansion of the reference center for the investigation of breast cancer.
The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation’s mission is to raise and administer funds to support the Institute's priority and innovative projects and help its fight against cardiovascular disease, the number-one cause of death worldwide. This is why the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation is essential, now more than ever. The Institute relies on the support of the Foundation and its donors to continue providing high-quality care that makes a real difference in patients’ lives.
Founded in 1977, the Foundation has given nearly $260 million to the Montreal Heart Institute. Thanks to these donations, innovative projects have been launched to improve treatment for patients with cardiovascular disease, particularly through less invasive, more preventive techniques that are on the leading edge of knowledge and technology.
In 2017-2018, more than 27,000 donors allowed the Foundation to financially support the Institute and inspire specialists who push the boundaries of medicine every day.

Created in 1984, the Fondation Institut de gériatrie de Montréal, in partnership with its donors, provides concrete support to developing and maintaining the lead role played by the Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal (IUGM) as a centre for specialized care, research and knowledge sharing related to aging and the health of seniors.

The IUGM Mission * Ensure the continuance of high-quality care The professionals at IUGM offer high-quality care and services that represent a source of cutting-edge information and expertise for the entire health and social services network. *Continue research activities on health and aging Through their dynamism and diversity of fields of study, IUGM researchers contribute to the development of knowledge to provide a better understanding of the mechanisms of aging and the progress of disease in seniors. In doing so, they reinforce the international influence of the research centre. *Promote the dissemination of expertise and improve the health of seniors. IUGM uses many media to disseminate the most recent information about health and aging. It encourages knowledge sharing among all professionals in the Québec health network. Its objective is to train a labour force specialized in geriatrics and gerontology. It can also call on the expertise of clinicians to design different information tools for seniors and their family caregivers. * Disseminate the most recent information about health and aging by informing the general public about research developments * Help promote the health of seniors and family caregivers by developing information tools
Since 2010, the Foundation has contributed almost $5 million to IUGM to complete projects such as: Expansion of the research centre; The purchase of equipment for specialized clinics, including a scanner for the pain management clinic;
The creation of lounges and terraces for IUGM residents; Establishment of artistic, musical and zootherapy activities for IUGM residents;
Lectures for the general public on questions relating to aging; Funding of research projects; Granting of bursaries to young researchers;
It is since its creation in 1976 that the Santa Cabrini Foundation has been supporting the Santa Cabrini Hospital and its senior residence, the Centre d’accueil Dante, finance the acquisition of specialized medical equipment as well as projects aiming at improving the quality of life of its patients and residents.
The governing board acts as primary contact throughout its annual campaigns aimed at soliciting financial support from companies, private foundations and the public at large in addition to coordinating fundraising activities. It is also assisted by numerous volunteers who invest time via their implication in various committees. In addition, the board of directors ensures a solid administration of the foundation’s operations as well as the rigorous allocation of funds.
Thanks to the generosity of its donors, the foundation has awarded to date over 17 million dollars to the Santa Cabrini Hospital and the Dante Center for the realization of numerous projects.
Lately, the foundation has invested in the palliative care unit for the development of spaces dedicated to families. Intensive care unit has been equipped with a new acute dialysis service. Finally, thanks to the foundation, the radiology department will be equipped with a high resolution breast ultrasound machine. Amounts have also been allocated to research in orthopedic and Santa Cabrini scholarship programs.
