Auto123.com invites you to take a test drive at
the 2009 Montréal International Auto Show
Montreal, January 15, 2009
For the first time in its history and in collaboration with Auto123.com, the Montréal International Auto Show (MIAS), taking place from January 16 to 25, 2009, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, will be giving the public a chance to test drive a environmentally conscious, fuel-efficient vehicle. By taking a quick spin around the Palais des congrès, visitors will be able to judge for themselves the performance of these environmentally-friendly automobiles. Of course, places will be limited, so, it will be “first come, first served”! Who will be among the lucky drivers?
Vehicles available for testing
Here is a rundown of the cars at your disposal for a test drive (as of December 19, 2008):
- Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid;
- GMC Yukon Hybrid;
- Honda Civic hybrid;
- Nissan Altima hybrid;
- Saturn Vue Hybrid;
- Subaru Outback PZEV;
- Toyota Camry hybrid;
- Toyota Highlander hybrid;
- Toyota Prius.
How to register
Visitors interested in taking a test drive must present themselves at the On Route to a Greener Future exhibit (located on level 5 of the Show), be at least 25 years of age, present a valid driver’s licence and have all the required vehicle insurance. Once registered, you will be issued a number and you will be informed of the approximate waiting time. All test drives will last approximately five (5) minutes each. As places remain limited, people will be informed when the maximum number of participants has been reached. Be advised there is no waiting list; therefore, visitors who were not able to participate in a test drive will not be able to use their number the following day.
